A stone of 11.355 kilograms fell April 22, 1942 on the
Kapoeta-Nathalani road. This is basically soil off of an
asteroid or small moon. It is made of broken chunks of
different kinds of meteorites that have plowed into the
asteroid. These broken up fragments resolidified under
pressure. The Howardites are mostly eucrite and diogenite
material. The Kapoeta meteorite fell during WWII on a road.
