Name: O'Donnell
Location: Dawson County
Texas
Type: Olivine Bronzite Chondrite H5
One stone was recovered by a farmer in the Spring of 1992 while
plowing a cotton field. It was not recognized as a meteorite until
2000. The total known weight is 12.7 kilograms. The O'Donnell Meteorite
was classified by Alan Rubin of UCLA as an H5 Chondrite.
This meteorite was published in the Meteoritical Society Bulletin No. 84
Never published in the Meteoritical Society Bulletins but some information is available.
